Downtown, Penn Station, Lyric, Meyerhoff, Stadiums, Inner Harbor, MICA, UB, Hopkins, UMD minutes away by foot, car or public transit. Note: house has 2 cats who roam freely. NO adidtional pets or anyone with allergies!!!

This one bedroom, one bath unit with large living room/dining room/kitchenette is in an owner-occupied townhouse in the heart of mid-town Baltimore City in the historic Bolton Hill neighborhood. Spacious and airy unit is a beautifully furnished 1000 sq foot basement apartment.

The owner lives on first and second floors and has two very friendly cats who roam the entire house freely and like to greet guests.

Central air/heat and ceiling fans keeps the unit cold in the summer and toasty warm in the winter. Access the apartment through a modern, beautifully furnished townhouse located in gated, tree-lined courtyard. The sound of the fountain in front will make you forget that you're minutes from downtown Baltimore.

The house is the perfect location for quick access to an Orioles or Raven's game, the new Horseshoe Casino, Inner Harbor, Hopkins Hospital, MICA, U of Baltimore, UMMC, U of MD MD Grad schools, Penn Station or a show/concert/play at any of the city's many venues. Minutes from the Meyerhoff and the Lyric.

THE APARTMENT:
The bedroom has a new queen sized Tuft and Needle mattress which can comfortably sleep two guests. Mirrored armoire and dresser offers plenty to unpack during your stay. Two windows get nice morning light. But the room is well insulated and stays nice and cool in the summer.

The large living/dining room/kitchenette has a living room section with large super comfy sectional sofa, dining area with seating for 4, a small desk area and kitchenette with everything you would need to make yourself a small meal.

The kitchenette has a fridge, sink, microwave, keurig coffee maker, convection toaster oven, insta-hot water pitcher and induction burner for morning eggs or a quick spaghetti meal. And all the dishes, utensils, and cookware you might need for a snack or a meal are provided.

The newly renovated tiled bathroom offers a walk-in shower, toilet and vessel sink. Fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided. The heat lamp will keep you toasty warm in the winter.

Laundry is available for longer term guests. When booking the basement unit, you get more than just a place to sleep. All guests are welcome to enjoy the beautiful outside grounds, including all the courtyards and walking paths with beautiful fountains, trees and flowers. It's like a secret garden in the middle of the city.

Surround sound/DVD player, Smart/Internet Television and Nintendo Wii included!

Plenty of street parking is available. Depending on availability, off-street parking may be available for longer term guests.

The Neighborhood
Bolton Hill is located in midtown Baltimore City. It is part of the Cultural District and is walking distance of the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, the Lyric Opera House, the Charles Theatre, University of Baltimore, Maryland Institute College of Art, and many more. Mt. Vernon is right next door with the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Walters Art Gallery, Peabody Conservatory, Antique Row, and many shops and restaurants are a ten minute walk away. Just a few minutes more gets you to the Hippodrome Theatre, the Everyman Theatre, baseball and football stadiums, the convention center, and the new casino.

Bolton Hill is a very safe, beautiful and historic neighborhood with many houses from the 1700's and 1800's.

TRANSPORTATION:
Public transportation is available just a few blocks away including a Light Rail Stop, State Center/Cultural Center subway stop, Penn Station, and the purple line on the free Circulator Bus, along with several MTA buses. BWI is only a 20 minute drive or can easily be accessed via the Light Rail. From Penn Station, you can catch a MARC train (now on weekends, too) which will get you to Washington, DC in 45 minutes. Or catch an Amtrak train to NYC or Philadelphia for a day trip. The Bolt Bus is also a great to get to town from the NYC area and is walking distance to the house.

There are several Zipcar stations within a few blocks.
