KNIGHTS LOGISTICS LLC is looking for reliable independent contractor delivery drivers with their own vehicles (SUV, MINIVAN, OR CARGO VAN) to join our Last Mile Delivery team in Baltimore, MD. This is a high volume, route-based delivery job — not gig work.
Warehouse: Jessup, MD; Route Area: Baltimore, MD
DEDICATED & FLOATING, Full-time and Part-time routes available (in ONE zip-code). Priority given to drivers who can do some weekend work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As one of our contract drivers, you will be responsible for:
* Picking up your route at Jessup Warehouse.
* Delivering packages to designated locations generally within a single zip-code.
* Ensuring all packages are delivered on time and in a good condition.
* Using the technology platform to handle customer deliveries, update delivery status.
* Maintaining communication with dispatch and customers.
* Handling packages with care to prevent damage.
* Maintaining a clean and well-functioning vehicle
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have valid driver’s license
* Must have an SUV, minivan, or cargo van (no sedans)
* Must have personal auto insurance with $100K/$300K liability coverage
* May be Required to Pass Background & Drug Screenings.
* Must have smartphone (iOS or Android) for route management/scanning
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lb packages throughout the day
* Must be Strong reliable, punctual, and have an attention to detail
COMPENSATION:
$1.50 per STOP (not per package) paid weekly via direct deposit. Most full-time drivers average 100+ stops/day
Contractors are responsible for fuel, tolls (if applicable), and vehicle maintenance.
