We’re a growing FedEx Ground contracted company seeking dependable drivers to join our local pickup & delivery team. You’ll service a dedicated area within a single zip code, ensuring safe, timely delivery and excellent customer experience. This role requires a strong work ethic with a customer-first mindset. The ability to lift/carry packages repeatedly.
This position requires working 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) + holidays. A weekly pay of $900 - $1,200+, based on route and performance. Most shifts are 6-8 hours/day outside of peak season. We promote from within, so we're looking for career-minded team members who want to grow with us.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently drive vehicle to delivery locations (business/residences).
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit in a physical fast paced, outdoor position.
- Navigate assigned route throughout delivery area and deliver packages in an appropriate drop off area, obliging customer requests and obtaining signatures when necessary.
- Must be comfortable driving, delivering, lifting and maneuvering packages in various weather conditions.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
Skills
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service abilities to effectively communicate with clients.
- Capability to load, unload, and lift heavy items (max 150 lbs) safely.
- Able to pass DOT medical examination physical (required)
- Able to get in and out of a delivery truck and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift.
