Qualifications: Individuals with true LANDSCAPE experience preferred. We are a small company who install creative landscapes and maintain properties. This position requires a great work ethic and a respect for quality work and attention to detail. Must be able to lead (by example) a small crew focusing on time management and teamwork.
Other requirements- Driver's license and your own transportation (car or truck) to get you to and from various job sites. Cell phone.
This is a full or part time position, 28 to 40 hours per week -weather permitting.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, trimming shrubs, edging beds and mulching, leaf removal and plant installation.
- Assist/lead in landscape construction projects: excavating, grading, utilizing hand tools and equipment. Installation of patios, walls, walkways - decks and fences. Experience in masonry (stone work) or carpentry is highly favorable.
- Support tree and shrub care and gardening activities as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working on construction sites.
- Possess a valid driver's license for transportation to various job sites. -Ability to lift heavy objects 60 pounds.
