condition: good
make / manufacturer: Montgomery Wards
model name / number: 10 inch radial/with power panel
size / dimensions: 10" 36"x36"x40"h
This is a 10 inch radial arm saw with a drum sander attachment, on a stand. It was made by Montgomery Wards. It has a multitude of attachments and blades. Also comes with stack DADO blades, and the instruction books.
Does need the surface table to be replaced, which is basically a thick piece of plywood. Anyone who would be interested in this saw can easily make one put it on the stand and your in business.
The stand is a heavy duty commercial shop type base is about 36"x36", top is about 24"x24". Table height is adjustable as the legs can be adjusted to suit your personal preference or to match your existing bench. Presently about 40"
Saw can be tilted or turned for beveling or rip cuts up to 90deg right or left. Saw height or depth of cut is adjustable by cranking the handle which moves the entire head assembly up or down. It also adjusts swing 180deg total 90< or 90>
This saw is really simple to operate, it'll adjust to just about any angle you can think of. Does compound miters, a 1/2" shaper chuck can be attached to one of the power spindles, such as the one the drum sander head attaches to. A chuck is not included as I do not have one. They can be purchased at any hardware store or tool supplier, like Harbor Freight.
This would be a great addition to any wood working shop, especially for the home wood working hobbyist.
And for $200 I don't think you can go wrong. Hell a stand like this would cost you a $100.
If you decide you want it give me a TEXT any time day or night or call and you come and see it. You'll need to make arrangements to move it. I can't help, I'm disabled and only have one leg. 2 guys can pick it up relatively easy. My nephew moved it by himself, but I don't recommend it. Be safe about it, use 2 guys !
If you are fairly close by and need it transported, I have a pick up truck and could transport it if there's no other way.
Thanks, Wayne 'Doc'
