THis is a quality mortising set from AMT back in the 80's when they produced really good tools. The drill press attachment fits a 1 5/8" quill. (vintage Craftsman drill press). PLEASE CHECK YOUR QUILL TO SEE IF IT IS 1 5/8". As you can see in the photo the female part of the attachment has been split and machined so that the attachment can be secured without removing the chuck. THis is much more secure and solid than using bushings and shims which most of the newer mortisers use.
The chisel set is sharp and in very good condition Sizes are :1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, so you have a complete set with fractional sizes. THe larger sizers are Greenlee, top quality; these larger sizes are hard to find and expensive. The shanks are 3/4". All in a nice fitted case with hone.
