Baltimore-based couples therapist teaming with an Emmy-winning documentary TV producer to develop a serialized narrative podcast built around long-form, improvised couples therapy sessions.
Currently casting 2 actors to portray a couple over multiple recorded sessions. This is a paid, non-union project.
This is not traditional scripted work or comedic improv. The format is closer to scene study or documentary-style storytelling, with an emphasis on emotional realism, listening, and sustained character development over time. Actors will work from detailed character backgrounds and relationship history, but all dialogue and interaction will be unscripted. Improv background strongly preferred.
Recording will take place in Baltimore throughout 2026.
