Tech Support Technician (Beltsville)

compensation: BASED UPON EXPERIENCE
employment type: full-time

Our Tech Support is to communicate over the phone, email or text with our clients to diagnose and troubleshoot or schedule repair for our equipment. Occasionally on-site equipment repairs for commercial cooking and cooling equipment. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual to provide our customers with maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial food service equipment, by diagnosing issues and problem solving .

DUTIES:

Diagnose and troubleshoot or schedule repair for our equipment and repair malfunctions in various types of commercial food service equipment.
Excellent customer service skills
Order and install replacement parts as required.
Assemble, repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
Repair, replace, or calibrate components on natural gas and LP systems.
Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical wiring, controls, and piping as required.
Wire and connect motors, pumps, temperature controls, and heating elements as required.
Promote a positive work environment and company culture.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
CFESA Certificated Technician (preferred).
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to bend, reach, and kneel.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

· Must be able to work in all food service environments.
