The Chess board doubles as the storage box for the playing pieces. Each storage side is secured by wooden covers and then secured with latches. The board games seals by latches as well for easy storage. Chess pieces are beautifully made with one set being orange and the other being purple. Each piece is also very intricate in their own way.

This set is in good used condition except for two ends of the board. All pieces are present and accounted for. No chips or cracks in any that I see. Most of the wear and tear can be found on the play board only.
