MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.
 

The Software Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems while ensuring all functional and performance requirements are met.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new feures and functionality.
• Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements while debugging existing software to correct defects.
• Developing and implementing algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Integring existing software into new or modified systems or opering environments.
• Developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers.
• Writing or reviewing software and system documention to ensure process standards are met.

Minimum Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or reled discipline with 7+ years of software engineering experience; Four years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency with backend software development using Python.
   

Preferred Qualificions:

• Experience developing and deploying backend applicions within cloud environments.
• Foundional understanding of Docker and a general familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Angular or React development.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
   

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
• Must be able to exchange accure informion in these situions.
