MANTECH seeks a Senior Linux System Administror to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.

In this role, you will provide support for implemention, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, as well as manage IT system infrastructure and any processes reled to these systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support for implemention, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and processes reled to client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Perform Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalion) support: problem identificion, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Optimize system operions and resource utilizion; perform capacity analysis and system planning.
• Configure and manage Linux and Windows opering systems; install, load, and enhance OS software for improved reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain system integrity and network components.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers on escaled issues.
• Support the design of system architectures and associed hardware.
   

Minimum Qualificion

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; an additional 4 years of reled experience might be substituted for a degree.
• 20+ years of reled experience in systems administrion or IT operions.
• Experience with Linux, including installion, configurion, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
   

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
   

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50% of the time.
• Constantly operes a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., calculor, copy machine, printer).
• Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
