MANTECH seeks an experienced and passione, career and customer-oriented Linux Systems Administror to join our team loced in the Fort Meade, MD area.
 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive administrion and support for multi-plform opering system environments.
• Design and implement automed security hardening solutions to enhance scalability and streamline opering system deployments.
• Configure and maintain host-based security and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor system performance and investige detected anomalies to ensure operional integrity.
• Develop and deploy automion scripts to manage server integrion and reduce manual configurion errors.
• Analyze system and security logs to identify and respond to real-time events and provide stus updes to leadership.
• Engineer automion workflows for identity and access management to replace manual account provisioning processes.
• Conduct regular audits to verify security compliance and identify potential vulnerabilities or configurion gaps.
• Participe in design and review meetings to provide technical insights, project goals, and stus updes to management.

Minimum Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 10+ years of relevant Systems Administrion experience; or an Associe's degree with 15+ years’ experience.
• 10+ years of experience in systems administrion of software and hardware supporting IT system development and testing.
• Extensive experience with Linux administrion and enterprise-level opering systems.
• Experience utilizing Ansible or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with NiFi or cross-domain solutions.
• Experience managing enterprise virtualizion plforms (VMware or similar) and associed Storage Area Networks (SAN).

Preferred Qualificions:

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, SaltStack, or Puppet.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Experience collaboring with teams to integre and deploy new technologies into production environments.
• Knowledge of network devices (routers, switches, geways) and protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS.
   

Clearance Requirement:

• Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stionary position least 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly opere a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
