MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Cloud Engineer to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.

In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex cloud systems based upon documented requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provides cloud software development/engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installion, integrion, evaluion, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.

• Work on a software development program proving software development engineering stregies for environments using AWS SDK's, Kubernetes Client Libraries, and other reled cloud technologies.

• Design and develop infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes.

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.

• Autome tasks through approprie tools and scripting.

• Perform validion and verificion testing.

• Document development phases and monitor systems.

Minimum Qualificions:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or reled discipline; An additional 4 years of reled experience might be substituted for a degree.

• 8+ years of experience in software development/cloud engineering in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Experience with Python.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles.

• Hands-on experience with container technologies (i.e. Docker) and orchestrion tools (i.e. Kubernetes, Helm).

• One or more of the following is required or must be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire de:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associe (CE Level 1 or 2)

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administror (CE Level 1 or 2)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (CE Level 3)

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (CE Level 3)

  • Certified Kubernetes Applicion Developer (CE Level 3)

  • Certified Kubernetes Administror (CE Level 3)

Clearance Requirements:

• Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50%.

• Constantly operes a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculor, copy machine and computer printer.

• The person in this position frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
