Leidos Security Operions is seeking a proven, experienced security professional for a Senior Security Manager, to lead a multi-functional team and manage a portfolio of programs supporting our Cyber & Analytics Business Area supporting our Intelligence Community (IC) customers. Primary Responsibilities
•This leader will be responsible for the s
security oversight and management of trusted security support for multiple contracts ensuring the proper implementing of the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met and exceeded.
*This leader will guide and develop a highly motived team of industrial security professionals across multiple stes and cleared facilities.
•This leaders will interface with all levels of Leidos personnel and government officials to ensure contract security compliance with the Nional Industrial Security Program Opering Manual 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Contract Security documents and Program Classificion Guides.
•The applicant must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures th will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or informion.
•The applicant must have a proven ability to apply risk mitigion in solving complex security challenges
•The applicant will provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modificions to operions policies or procedures as approprie.
•The applicant will provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to security personnel in relion to their security program(s), personnel clearance processing, program reviews, document control and security audits.
•The applicant will provide oversight and direction on security violion/infraction investigions & reports, receipt/dispch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.
•The applicant will provide technical security experience in the following security disciplines: personnel, physical/industrial, computer investigions and operions.
•The applicant will need to be proficient preparing and dissemining security requirements, guidance, and procedures.
•The applicant will ensure training of security personnel on how to properly cree and conduct SCI briefings relevant to specific program missions for program personnel.
•The applicant is expected to collabore with members of the DoW, IC and other officials as required to maintain knowledge and understanding of current security requirements.
•The applicant will provide guidance to security personnel on how to monitor, upde and maintain personnel/program records (e.g. dabase and hardcopy) of security actions, as well as interpret security policies on mters pertaining to processing, disseminion and controlling of classified merial.
•The applicant is expected to effectively coordine security initiives or requirements with internal and external security offices and business areas.
•The applicant will monitor and manage security operions across the Sector and provide stus reports and recommendions to various levels of internal security and business leaders.
•The applicant will provide guidance on how to effectively build and maintain a security program to include how to cree, manage and execute Security Awareness and CI training programs.
•The applicant will work closely and collabore with internal and external managers to ensure understanding of program operions.
•The applicant will be expected to work extended hours as required.
•The applicant will have experience in creing and authoring Security Volumes for Request for Proposals.
Basic Qualificions
•Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or master’s with 6 years of relevant experience required
•Minimum of 6-8 years of experience leading and managing CPSOs, CSSOs or FSOs to include experience administering and providing performance feedback, setting goals and approving timecards
•Experience managing multiple programs to include collaboring with site leadership, program leadership and members of the executive leadership team
•Ability to travel to security sites around the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Metro Area
•Experience briefing large audiences on the security stus of programs
•Has a deep knowledge of the security discipline to manage highly complex or specialized projects/process improvements
•Uses influence and expert knowledge in presenting solutions/approaches
•Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other government regulions (e.g. Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) as well as customer specific policies and directives
•Self-starter with ability to independently manage tasks
•Commitment to security - creing and delivering the highest value to customers
•Strong background utilizing Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
•Evalue and interpret clearance decisions made by government customers
•Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operions
•Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements of ICD 705 to meet contractual needs, experience with SCIF Buildouts from start to finish
•Proven ability to manage Sensitive Compartmented Informion programs
•Thorough understanding and working experience with government and corpore security dabases such as SIMS and customer dabases
•Thorough experience mentoring security employees on how to consolide SCI nominion packages for submission to customer. Experience reviewing SF 86s, Foreign Contact Forms and other supplemental forms
•Experience setting a standard for establishing the creion of initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinions, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as approprie
•Strong communicion skills, both oral and written
•Candides must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph
Preferred Qualificions:
*Experience leading security teams supporting IC customers
•Experience managing large complex programs and teams geographically disbursed
•Experience building SCIFs to ICD 705 technical specificions
•Established relionship and partnership with government entities across the IC
•Current Industrial Security Certificion FSO, CPSO or CSSO training/certifice(s)
•Experience training security personnel on developing and implementing security Standard Opering Procedures (SOPs) and emergency action plans
•Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems
•Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities
•Member of Security Organizions/affiliions (e.g. ISWG or NCMS)
