GENERAL PURPOSE

Looking for people with high energy and who crave running their own business from home!!!  Plus, you must be fun and want to have fun in your daily life and business!!!  The job itself will be to actively pursue new customers, generate new business, effectively manage current customer relationships, as well as cultivate new ones and drive our labor sales in key markets.  

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Actively pursue new labor services business; confer with potential customers regarding services, solutions and subcontracting labor needs
  • Maximize opportunities with existing assigned customers
  • Qualify prospects to determine overall viability and sales potential
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date customer information in Salesforce
  • Effectively present information to executive management and all relevant stakeholders
  • Effectively manage existing customer relationships while seeking opportunity to increase revenue
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key players/decision makers to ensure retention and maximize wallet share
  • Drive strategic initiatives into customer / prospect base
  • Update KPIs and goals on a weekly basis
  • Work in team sales environment
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Demonstrate core values of the organization
  • Participate in all sales trainings, webinars and meetings
  • Stay up to date on industry news, trends, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Proficiency of CRM tools (Salesforce)
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Great Relationship Building skills
  • Prefer people with AV industry experience a
  • PC proficient (MS Office, e-mail, etc.)
  • Proven ability to understand and practice value added selling
  • Experience & Success in selling to owners & upper levels of management
  • General financial business literacy and familiarity with terminology
  • Ability to operate/work in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment
  • Motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who is competitive and seeks success
  • Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and responsive to questions and needs
    • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
    • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent project management and planning skills, while providing high attention to details
    • Must possess high degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential information

   Other Requirements:

  • Extensive relationships within the Commercial AV Industry
  • Key Integrator Relationships in the local markets being recruited
  • Must be able to provide for productive home office working environment
  • Must be available for long, varied work hours at times
  • Must be able to travel on average 50% of the time

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce a plus
  • AV experience is a must
  • Knowledge of the Labor Subcontracting business a plus
