POSITION SUMMARY: 

Performs all activities of the Department of Nuclear Medicine in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital. Provides excellent customer support by demonstring the Northwest values of Innovion, Compassion, Accountability and Teamwork. Peforms Nuclear Medicine (NM) procedures using prescribed technique; maintains proficiency on all reled equipment. Communices with various people within the Department and pients, as well as other customers throughout the organizion. Performs a variety of support duties to assure smooth operions of the department. Performs all job duties with a focus on safety for the pient, self and co-workers. Follows universal protocol for pient identificion and infectious diseases.

• Demonstres the approprie level of knowledge in all areas of Nuclear Medicine to include injection of radiopharmaceuticals and other pharmacologic agents reled to a procedure.
• Uses knowledge of pient positioning and other pharmacolic agents reled to a procedure.
• Evalues examinion to assure technical quality.
• Performs daily check of NM equipment to assure preparedness.
• Utilizes HIS/RIS to assure proper ordering and completion of NM procedures.
• Explains and answers questions concerning NM procedures.
• Recognizes priorities and deals with them appropriely.
• Process images according to established protocols.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associe's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
• Gradue of a school of Nuclear Medicine
• Less than one year of experience
• Licensed by the Ste of MD
• Certified by CNMT or ARRT(N) or registry eligible
