MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented System Network Engineer to join our team in Hanover, Maryland.

The System Network Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to play a vital role in protecting nional security and driving innovion, with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyzing user requirements, operional concepts, and system architectures to develop detailed system specificions.
• Leading system design and development activities, guiding users in requirements formulion, and evaluing alternive solutions.
• Developing and maintaining technical documention, including system architecture and design documents, engineering management plans, and integrion/test plans.
• Ensuring the technical integrity of systems engineering deliverables and managing the system baseline throughout its lifecycle.
• Directing the development, integrion, and testing of complex hardware/software systems and networks, including requirements analysis and interface standards.
• Assisting with system security compliance and the applicion of security controls to networks and equipment.
• Leading or assisting with the troubleshooting and repair of systems and network components, including routers, switches, servers, VMs, and workstions.

Minimum Qualificions:

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Informion Systems, or a reled field; an additional 5 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 14+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Proficiency in engineering and administering VMware virtualized infrastructure.
• 7 years of combined experience in:
  • Designing and implementing Cisco networks and Windows Server across classified or unclassified environments.
  • Architecting and configuring secure, classified systems, servers, and network enclaves.
  • Providing systems engineering expertise, including design, software deployment, and advanced troubleshooting for workstions and servers.

Preferred Qualificions:

• Multi-plform expertise in the design and administrion of VMware, Linux/UNIX, and Windows Server environments.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
• Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
• Must be able to exchange accure informion in these situions.
