I'll finish strong, but I'll start with some downsides. This particular room is small: 80 square feet, there's no window in the room, and the closet is outside the room.
However, the closet, once you get there is relatively large, and there is a sunroom 15 feet from the room.
Although the room is mostly furnished, if you have your own furniture, we can likely remove the existing furniture.
A two-minute walk from the condo is a shopping center with large international grocery store (LA Mart), Columbia Ice Skating Rink, a Dunkin, Lucky Man Chinese Restaurant, Pizzaman Restaurant, El Gran Sabor Salvodoran restaurant, a liquor store, The Barn & Other Barn civic/hosting venues, Metro By T-Mobile, and The Meeting House Interfaith Worship Center. Across the street is a baseball field, soccer field, football field, basketball courts, a track, and on our side of the street, tennis/pickleball courts. We're also a 20-minute walk along a nice path to Lake Kittamaqundi and Columbia Mall.
Security Deposit is $575, similar to rent. Utilities are included in that price.
I bought this condo unit three years ago. Before that, I lived in Laurel for 15 years, spent a couple/few years in College Park (going to school), and grew up in Bethesda, where my mom still lives. I work in an office here in Columbia.
Besides me, Mylissa (also goes by Lissa) also lives here in the second bedroom. Lissa lived most of her life in Las Vegas but moved to Maryland to be near one of her daughters, who has a young child.
The new tenant would share the half bathroom with Lissa and the shower with both of us.
A great advantage is that Lissa prepares dinner 3-4 nights a week for whoever's around.
In addition, we have a wonderful cat named named Raven, who is 5 years old.
