We're seeking a new roommate for our shared house in Little Italy, in downtown Baltimore. It's a 3-story (plus basement) rowhouse, 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, back patio. We're centrally located and in easy walking distance to quite a lot downtown - shopping, bars/restaurants, tourism, night life and other nearby neighborhoods (Fells Point, Inner Harbor, Harbor East, Harbor Point).
At the moment we are 1 girl and 3 guys (mostly IT/programmers). One is leaving. We're looking for someone (guy or girl) who's good to live with, as well as dependable and trustworthy. We mainly sleep, cook, eat and live our lives, often watch tv/movies, sometimes go out for a meal and a drink.
I've been here a long time managing the place for landlords, and I have a good process for selecting and onboarding people. We run background checks ($35), so be prepared for that. We also have a signed roommate agreement, about how everyone can be decent roommates to each other, and also how to handle contingencies. I handle bills / accounting, and most miscellaneous issues in the house.
The landlords are good landlords. They are responsive to issues and we regularly talk with them.
