Very spacious and well-lit bedroom in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore (nice sized closet, too). Only 1.5 blocks from Penn Station, a 10-15 min walk from Peabody, and very easy access to transportation to JHU's Homewood campus. Current roommate is in mid-20s and very respectful. The apartment is a 2BR apartment with a large, bright shared bathroom. The living room space is already furnished with a shared TV, keyboard, table, etc. The kitchen features a dishwasher, decent counter space, and plenty of room for a portable island if more counter space is needed. There is laundry in the basement of the building, which has an elevator for quicker access. The building has a secured entrance with cameras (you'll get a fob for the front door of the building and key for side door). There is also a convenient package delivery box in the lobby to keep deliveries safe. The room easily fits a queen bed -- I had a queen bed, dresser, desk, huge mirror, and tons of plants in here and still had room. The building itself is quite old, so the walls are thick and I hardly ever heard my neighbors. The apartment is on the 7th floor, and I never once experienced any form of pest issue. Management covers water and trash & are very responsive. Wifi/elec/gas are split 50/50 with the current roommate. A/C and heat come through the window units, not the radiators, so there is less gas use. Please message with any questions! If you have a pet, management will charge more -- not sure of the fee, but it from what I recall it is not a lot. You can also contact local lots or management companies and pay a pretty reasonable monthly fee if you'd like off street parking.
