Our store carries everything from text and trade books, technology, and school supplies to clothing, regalia, and food service. We are currently looking to hire employees to work in our General Merchandise Department. Our position requires flexible availability, which includes weekends and the ability to work an open, midday, or closing shift between the hours of 8am and 10pm. The position starts at $10.25/hr, and may last up to 90 days, at which point a decision will be made whether to promote an employee to permanent, part time basis based on performance. This promotion would include a raise to $12.75/hour.
•Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with the purchase of merchandise or services.
•Shelve, arrange, clean, and organize product or space within the store to maintain an appealing sales floor.
•Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
•Require availability to work on a weekly basis (including weekends) for a period of 90 days , and flexibility in scheduling for opening, midday, or closing shifts between 8am to 10pm.
