Hello All,

My name is Michael Hoffman and I’ve worked in the food industry for over 10 years now. Some of that time was spent preparing and cooking food for customers, patients, and high class catering events. Roughly 7 years ago, I transferred over to the managerial side of food service and excelled in all positions. I’ve reached a point in my life/career where food service no longer interests me and I’ve lost so much passion for that type of work. It’s one of those scenarios where if you don’t like what your doing, no matter how much money you make, it can make the rest of your life miserable. I want to do something new, something that interests me again.

Throughout my youth and my earlier days, before food service, I did a wide variety of positions. I’ve worked in construction, plumbing, and electrical, welding, landscaping, laying concrete. Building house frames, etc. I’m a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none. However, what I have the most experience in is cutting and laying ceramic tile. I’ve done that for several of my home projects and assisted others in theirs.

I’m an individual that likes to stay busy, keep working, and enjoys manual labor. I’m willing to do whatever is necessary just to get my foot in the door somewhere so, I can learn and grow, and become a valuable asset to your team. I’m even willing to take on some type of apprenticeship program where I can learn a specific trade, allowing me to become a more valuable asset.

All I’m asking for is a chance to prove myself, for you to see my work ethic, and my dedication. If you want a hole dug in the ground I’ll dig it. If you need buckets of cement hauled upstairs, I’m your man. I know I’m older than the majority of individuals hired fresh into organizations but, there are some benefits to that. I know what a hard day of work it like, don’t complain cause it to hot or cold. I just get the job done as I’ve been asked to and move on to the next.

I would appreciate any opportunity you can give me and I promise, if given the chance, I won’t let you down. I look forward to hearing from you and thanks again for your time and consideration.

It is easiest to reach me through email; however, I can call you back quickly if there is anything you wish to discuss or if there are any questions you may have.

Kind Regards,
Michael Hoffman
