EXEC / BIZ / ETC. DRIVING, REAL PROPERTY WORK, MOVING & AUTO TRANSPORT (Maryland based; Local-Interstate-CrossCountry Work)

I'm available for many types of work, part-time or possibly full-time, short-term or possibly
long-term, such as:

__ Driving you in your vehicle (locally, regionally or nationally)
__ Repair, fix up, renovation work on your property(ies)
__ Help with your residential or business move or re-location
__ Auto Transport (in your vehicle driving it to designated destination)

You don't need to take me on as an employee, PT or FT, or hire me for any extended period.
I'm looking for side work to supplement my main income. It can be day, night or weekend
work, for as little as a full day/night, or longer if your needs dictate.

I schedule my own work on various projects and can usually clear time to accommodate you.
There are even occasional time gaps between completion of one project and start of the next
one, during which I can schedule several days or weeks or even a month or so, for situations
like one's property renovation, cross-country move / relocation, long-distance vehicle transport
and delivery, or driving the person in that person's car (or even rental truck or RV for long-
distance, cross-country or coast-to-coast situations).

If you (or anyone you know) happen to occasionally need help in any one or more of the areas
or situations like those described below, contact me and we can work out terms, logistics,
schedule, etc.

I'm a very reliable multi-talented all-purpose guy with diverse work experience, available for
short-term or long-term work, as needed, for any of the tasks and situations described below.

I have over thirty (30) years experience in auto transport and general driving (even coast-to-
coast), with a perfect driving record, and in moving people's furniture, equipment, contents,
etc., from homes and offices to their new locations, as well as office / commercial furniture
systems installations, carpentry / handyman / drywall / painting / etc. work.

IF YOU NEED A DRIVER (IN YOUR VEHICLE) FOR ANY REASON FOR A DAY / NIGHT /
OVERNIGHT / WEEKEND ACTIVITY OR EVENT:

Consider hiring me (for a day or two or longer, as case may be) for such driving jobs as

__ DESIGNATED DRIVER – using your vehicle - any time you plan to be out drinking
(ball games, concerts, music fests, brewery or winery tours, nightclubbing, bar-hopping, etc.)

__ MEDICAL DRIVER - using your vehicle - for surgery or other medical procedures
and appointments (may be required by your medical provider in order for them to proceed)

__ SUBSTITUTE DRIVER - using your vehicle - when you're unable - even temporarily - to
drive because of post-surgical restrictions or an injury (e.g., eye surgery, broken foot, leg, arm, etc.)

__ EXECUTIVE/BUSINESS DRIVER - using your vehicle - to drive you around all day to your
meetings and appointments (locally or to/from distant states and cities) while you relax, sleep,
make your calls, work on business matters, prepare for the meetings or appointments

anywhere in the immediate MD-DC-VA area as well as PA-DE-NJ-NY and other states in the
Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions and beyond.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm chauffeur-trained, by a top (in USA) limo company, and will dress and
act appropriately and professionally.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE (WITH REGARD TO YOUR VEHICLE TO BE DRIVEN BY ME):

The vehicle must:

__ be properly titled, registered, and insured, and have current license tags/plates
__ be free of safety defects (brakes, tires, etc., in good shape)
__ have fully functioning headlights, taillights, brake lights, etc.
__ have no inflammatory bumper-stickers (political or otherwise)

Also, if all you need is a quick ride somewhere locally, you can always use one of those ride
apps whose names I'm not allowed to mention in my posting. Even though they may not
be properly licensed and insured for passenger carry, it's your best bet for a short local ride
with no waiting time. However, be careful using them for long distance rides – they charge
multiple fees for time, mileage, etc., that will far exceed what I'd charge.

__ house/condo/apartment clean-outs, repairs and sale prep (if you're a renter, this helps you
get security deposit back, and if you're an owner, this helps you in your sale to the buyer)
__ planning and organizing local, regional, or long-distance moves
__ packing, loading, driving (van or truck that you rent directly), and unloading at your new place
__ setup at new location (utilizing my carpentry, etc., skills)
__ (for office re-locations and commercial moves) disassembly of workstations, equipment, furni-
ture systems, file systems, shelving systems, etc., moving to new location and re-assembling, and
doing framing, drywall, ceiling, painting, and installations of doors, cabinetry, flooring, etc.

You can save money renting a truck and having me help and drive, because the rental and my
compensation, costs and expenses would still total much less than what moving companies will
charge (particularly the marked-up labor charges for the entire long-distance round trip even
if they're not paying the crew for those riding / sleeping hours).

IF YOU NEED A VEHICLE DRIVEN CROSS-COUNTRY OR EVEN COAST-TO-COAST
(in conjunction with move / re-location, or if you're selling or buying a vehicle online)

OR if you need to drive your vehicle hundreds or thousands of miles but can't do so
because of, for example, a broken hand, foot, leg, etc., vision problems, health issues
or other physical / emotional limitations, or just lack of time, energy, stamina, etc.,
to do it yourself, or other situations:

__ driving your vehicle for you to your designated delivery location OR
__ driving you (and possibly your pet(s)) to your designated destination OR
__ splitting the driving time and miles (not the expenses) to your designated destination OR
__ driving your RV (owned or rented) for cross-country vacation trips, arena / stadium tours,
craft brewery or winery visits, national park tours, concert tours, bucket-list, etc., trips OR
__ driving your RV - owned or rented - in conjunction with your move/relocation (taking you
and your pet(s) and overflow belongings not going with your major moving company)

or any similar long-distance moving situation

PLEASE NOTE: Unless there is a mechanical or safety problem, or a title/registration problem with
the vehicle, and it can't be driven, never use the auto transport or auto shipping companies - takes
forever, exposes vehicles to damages, and they'll gouge you at least 3-4 times what they quote you.

I am a cost-efficient and timely alternative to the auto transport and shipping companies. I do not
use a truck or carrier. I would get into your vehicle and drive it the entire distance, with appropriate
stops to preserve engine and vehicle integrity and my safety as driver, get it there days or weeks before
any transport or shipping company, and for much less.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE (WITH REGARD TO VEHICLE TO BE DRIVEN BY ME):

The vehicle must:

If for long-distance driving, which helps clean the engine by burning off accumulated engine gunk,
your vehicle should (not mandatory, but strongly suggested) have a recent oil change and tune-up so as
to maximize fuel efficiency. I'd also recommend a few cans/bottles of engine cleaner fluids (Gumout,
Lucas, SeaFoam, etc.) so as to pass the emissions test and inspection in places like California which
have stricter emissions standards,

The bottom line is that the vehicle must be in such shape that you would make the drive
yourself if you had the time, stamina, endurance, focus, concentration, etc., to do so. Of
course, the value of your time has to be figured into the equation, and it's likely that the
compensation you'd pay me is a lot less than what you make on your job.

PLEASE NOTE: In any long-distance driving or moving /re-location situation, you will have to
pay for my work (usually just for my time, not miles driven), AND for all expenses, including
all gas, tolls, parking, hotels/motels/meals, and anything needed for the vehicle (oil, coolant, etc.)
for the entire trip.

Most of the expenses you'd have to cover, in addition to my compensation, are just expenses you
would incur anyway if you did the drive yourself. You also have to cover my expenses for ground
transportation to the nearest national airport, and the return airfare, to get me back to Maryland,
and possibly ground transport from BWI/Marshall, Dulles or Reagan back to my VA/DC/MD base.

Although your trip, move or vehicle delivery may be one-way, mine is round-trip:

__ If the job starts from some distant location and is to be completed in Maryland or nearby, you
must cover airfare to there, and my ground transport there and back here.

__ If the job starts from Maryland or nearby and is to be completed in some distant location, you
cannot leave me stranded there. You must cover all ground transport to the nearest national airport,
airfare back to BWI Marshall, Dulles or Reagan, as flight availability may dictate, and any ground
transport or airport parking costs I might incur.

Even when all that is added up, it's still actually less than what the low-balling online quickie-quote
auto transport/shipping brokers/companies will actually charge you in the end. They may quote, for
example, $1,000, but in the end charge $4,000+, and predict a 7-day delivery that ends up being 28
days or more (multiple immediate tack-on fees, surcharges, taxes, etc. and multiple truckers, drop-
off/pickup lots/terminals. etc., involved in process). In fact, I can usually deliver to the destination
before they can even initially pick up the vehicle with a tow truck and stick it in the nearest storage
lot/depot/terminal while they find an actual trucker to do the first leg of the trip.
