Willow is a female, 7 year old boxer/lab/pit mix. 75 pounds. I have had her since she was 6 months old. She was a rescue from BARCS.
She is very energetic but also very cuddly. She will require someone who can give her a lot of attention. She is potty trained. I would love to see her go somewhere with a fenced in yard which I have unfortunately never been able to provide for her.
She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She has had surgery on one of her legs. I will give all vet records to her new owner.
I love her dearly, but I have to rehome because I just had a baby and she has not had appropriate boundaries with the baby, even growling at him, leaving me with no option but to leave her in her crate for most of the day every day. I want her to have more than what I am currently able to give her- the playful, free, and active life she deserves.
She should be in a home with no other pets and no children. She has bite history only with other dogs (food aggression when I first got her, but has not had bite problems in over five years and has played with dogs since). She has never bit a human, but as I said she has growled at my baby.
She is high activity, high maintenance. But she is very loving and lovable. She loves to snuggle up and take naps together on the couch. She definitely wants to sleep in bed with you. She is a good girl, just a little anxious and has her quirks. Non-aggressive but can be loud sometimes in response to door knocks, fireworks, thunder, etc. Experienced and active dog owner who can be very involved preferred.
