Administrative Assistant (Rosedale)

compensation: commensurate with experience - excellent pay and above average benefits

Administrative Assistant needed for a small but rapidly growing engineering company located in Rosedale. Typical duties include:
• answering phones and correctly directing phone calls
• greeting guests
• ordering and maintaining stock of office and warehouse supplies
• maintaining office appearance and cleanliness
• shipping (both small parcel and truckload)
• maintaining an accurate filing system
• assisting with tradeshow planning
• assisting with employee expense reconciliation
• printing and assembling manuals
• maintaining digital files on a shared drive
• creating and maintaining sales reports (using Excel)
• other duties to assist the President, Office Manager, and Production Manager as assigned


Requirements:
• high school diploma (some college is a bonus)
• experience in an administrative or customer service role
• previous work experience that demonstrates dependability
• the ability to solve problems independently
• excellent writing skills (as demonstrated in your cover letter)
• must be excellent with MS Excel, proficient with Outlook and Word
• MD driver's license, clean driving record and own reliable transportation

Desired skills:
• previous experience working at a small business or other “all hands on deck”, fast paced environment
• ability to lift 50 lbs
• experience with accounting (payables and receivables) or expenses
• experience using the back end of Concur
