Daily Responsibilities

As a Remote Focus Group Panelist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Active Participation: Engaging thoughtfully in online discussion forums, live video conferences, or one-on-one interviews, sharing honest and constructive feedback on various topics.
• Insight Generation: Providing detailed and articulate responses to questions posed by moderators, exploring your experiences, opinions, and perceptions.
• Product/Concept Evaluation: Offering clear evaluations of new product concepts, advertisements, user interfaces, or service ideas based on provided materials.
• Adherence to Guidelines: Following all instructions and guidelines provided for each focus group session, including confidentiality agreements and participation protocols.
• Timely Engagement: Ensuring prompt attendance and active contribution throughout the duration of scheduled sessions or within specified deadlines for asynchronous tasks.
• Technological Readiness: Utilizing personal computer equipment and a reliable internet connection to access and participate in online research platforms.

Benefits & Compensation

We value your time and insights. Focus Group Panelists are compensated for each completed session.

• Compensation: Panelists can expect to earn between $75 and $150 per completed session, depending on the length and complexity of the study. This can translate to potential weekly earnings of up to $750 for active participants.
• Flexible Hours: This is a part-time, remote opportunity with no fixed schedule. You choose which studies to participate in based on your availability and interest.

Minimum Requirements

To thrive as a Remote Focus Group Panelist, you will need:

• Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely.
• Technological Access: Reliable access to a computer or tablet with a webcam and a stable, high-speed internet connection.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy, including the ability to navigate online platforms, use video conferencing software, and send/receive emails.
• Attention to Detail: The capacity to carefully follow instructions and provide thoughtful, relevant feedback.
• Availability: Flexibility to dedicate 1-2 hours per session, with opportunities varying based on research needs.

Role Details

This is an exclusively remote, part-time opportunity. All focus group sessions and related activities will be conducted online. There are no travel requirements associated with this role. Panelists are expected to use their own personal computer equipment, including a webcam and microphone for video conference sessions. AFG does not provide equipment for this independent contractor position. The number of available studies can vary, offering a flexible engagement model where you can participate as opportunities align with your interests and availability.
