Living Springs Behavioral Health is seeking an organized, professional, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations and support our growing behavioral health practice.
The Office Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, maintaining patient records, coordinating scheduling activities, supporting providers, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and families. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and clinical staff to help maintain efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities Include:
• Open the office and prepare charts for scheduled sessions
• Schedule new patient appointments and collect required information
• Prepare and maintain patient charts and records
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and referrals
• Maintain and organize medical records and filing systems
• Document missed appointments and related information
• Answer phones, retrieve messages, and transfer calls professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
• Ensure waiting areas are stocked and presentable
• Coordinate with clinicians and behavioral health professionals
• Verify proper account information for patient visits
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
• Attend staff meetings and assist with administrative projects
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience with office administration, scheduling, and documentation
• Knowledge of medical records and healthcare billing processes preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with behavioral health professionals and diverse populations
• Familiarity with social media and client engagement is a plus
• Knowledge of community resources is helpful
• Must possess a valid Maryland driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
• $17 -$20 per hour based on experience
