The HR Administrator provides overall support in all areas of HR and manages Workers' Compensation, Family Medical and other approved leaves of absences while contributing to other Agency initiatives. This person must be organized, efficient and able to deal with a diverse employee base and support all levels of staff.
Manages the WC claims process for the Agency including processing and/or supplying required documents, coordinating benefits for injured workers, and acting as a liaison with insurance carrier, medical providers and other interested parties to facilitate resolution. Conduct WC and other trainings as required. Creates and distributes Employee Newsletter. Writes, revises, and/or edits job descriptions and assimilates a matrix of compensation and qualifications. Conducts employee exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement. Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.
Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action(s). Develops and maintains OSHA report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to OSHA regulations. Develops and maintains EEO-I report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations. Partners with employees and management to communicate various policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations. Develops specialized computer reporting to better analyze HR metrics. Responds quickly and appropriately to crisis situations. Demonstratse sound judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Works effectively and cooperatively with peers and administration to ensure professional, high quality services are delivered. Complies with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws. Ensures all deadlines are met.
