We are a working cover band that's currently a trio with guitar, bass, and drums -- all three members also sing lead and harmonies. We're in search of a female vocalist/keyboard player to round out the band, as we are currently an all-male band and we'd really like to widen the scope of the material we play, and better represent the music we love.
We have been up and running for 2-3 years and have a steady stream of gigs in non-COVID times in the mostly in the Baltimore, Frederick, and Hanover PA regions, right now we are playing a couple of times a month at weddings, private parties, and breweries, etc. That said, now seems like a great time to bring another member into the fold and get rehearsed up so that we can hit the ground running as things return to "normal." We try to get together to rehearse once a month.
Our ages range from 30-40 years old and we all value players who are professional/prepared, with chops, who like to have a great time on stage and interact with the audience so they have a great time as well. In other words, we like to take ourselves seriously, but not TOO seriously. Much of our material is centered around 90's pop/rock, but we have quite a bit of material from the 70's, 80's, and 00's that we like to throw in as well, especially when requested. We usually tend to book at a minimum of $150/person/gig.
We're looking for someone who has experience gigging, does their homework/comes prepared, and has a passion for having a great time performing and the music selection that we play. We're absolutely looking to expand our catalog as well and would like to incorporate the music YOU love from that era.
If this sounds like a fit, please email with some material of you playing (no worries if the "production value" isn't great) and your musical background. We're happy to respond to serious inquiries with performance videos, song lists, and answer any questions you have. Thanks, and looking forward to speaking with you!
