I’ve got a Made in Mexico (MIM) Fender Stratocaster in the Humbucker/Single Coil/Single Coil (HSS) configuration. This was apparently a limited ‘Factory Special Run’ (FSR) for Guitar Center in 2008, with the ash body and the Sienna Sunburst finish that was typically only on USA models in the past. You won’t find an 18-year old guitar that is any closer to brand new than this one. Also has a rosewood fingerboard, and beautiful pearloid pickguard. Check out that wood grain on the ash body – it’s even prettier in person. All of the classic Strat tones from positions 2-5, including the ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ quack and ‘Lay Down Sally’ plunk from positions 2 and 4. All this, plus the added growl of a full humbucker in position 1.
Comes with the original whammy bar, Schaller strap lock buttons, and a Roadrunner hardshell case.
This is truly a beautiful guitar. If you come to check it out, you will take it home.
