As collectors of guitars can tell you, the first or last of any guitar line always has special prominence. However, this guitar is a rarer still pre-production prototype made on October 1, 2003 in Meridian, MS, by Composite Acoustic guitars. I am only aware of one other prototype (no doubt there could be more, just sayin'). The guitar has amazing light weight and warm vintage sound with body contours that make it one of the most comfortable acoustics. It is a pleasure to play. It comes with the L.R. Baggs iMix system, which consists of the iBeam combined with the undersaddle Element pickup. Additionally, two bridge pins and an extra carbon fiber saddle are included. This was purchased from the estate of one of the Carbon Acoustics investors. As an illustration of the guitar's stability, it was shipped from New Mexico to Maryland in 2014. I just took it out of storage 11/23/2025. The guitar is still in tune. There is one small chip on the top; it was difficult to photograph. It can be seen to the right of the Quarter. The hard case is very nice and shows little wear.
Can be demo'd at the Hilton Homewood Suites, 1181 Winterson Rd, Linthicum, MD 21090
