I was gifted this brand new from my parents in early 1995. It’s been a great amp, but hasn’t been my “main” amp for decades now. Have kept it around for nostalgia, but it deserves to be played much more than I do.
If you’re looking at this, you probably already know these amps are sleeper tone monsters and are also LOUD as hell! Swapped out one of the original Eminence speakers for an Avatar Hellatone Celestian way back in 2006ish. When I did that swap I screwed up a few spots on the back panel when I removed it bc it’s really tight. This time, I removed the jack plate and used that as a handle along with a plastic car trim tool to help shimmy it off- with age come wisdom! haha Dropped the chassis, sprayed the pots, and cleaned the 1/4” jacks.
Comes with an Orange single-channel footswitch and cable. You need to use the footswitch to bypass the push-button that selects between channels. This takes the button completely out of the circuit and avoids random volume drops and noise. This is a common issue with these and other crate amps and the footswitch makes it a total non-issue.
Also comes with the speaker cable to connect the cab, original instruction manual, spare 2A slo-blo fuse, and 4 extra EL84 tubes though I think one may be blown.
Please feel to reach out with any questions or to set up a time to check it out.
