I was the biggest skeptic of amp modelers and have tried quite a few. This is the only one I could actually say feels and sounds realistic. My soundman was even surprised by how good it sounded in the mix!
I played out with it twice and it worked like a charm! So much so, that I decided to take the deep dive on the FM9.
Don't let the 3 footswitches fool you...they are configurable as press or hold, and can change layouts on the fly. Plus, there are 2 ports to add any generic 2 button or expression pedal to do whatever you want.
This unit is loaded with the Austinbuddy Live Gold 1000+ Presets (cost: $100) and Ownhammer Cab packs. All the Fractal presets are downloadable from the site. There is also the Axechange.com where you can upload and download presets.
It's in perfect working order and ready to use.
