I bought this guitar new in 1980.
It's in awesome playing condition.
Just a few dings.
A few years ago I had a new 12 saddle Rickenbacker bridge installed which allows for better intonation.
I use Thomastik-Infeld flat wound strings on it which give you that classic Beatles and Byrds 12 string sound.
Even though they are flat wound they have a really nice chimey ringing sound.
This set only has a few hours of use on them and they last a long time, which is a good thing because they cost about $60 a set.
They are the best sounding flats available.
They are made in Austria, and are better than any US made electric 12-string flat wound strings and I've tried them all.
I use to use Pyramid but the tension was too strong.
One minor issue is two of the pot knobs are missing their inserts.
At some point they fell off while I was playing and I couldn't find them.
If that is a big deal to you Rickenbacker has replacement knobs.
Everything works great on this guitar.
No fret wear since for the past 46 years this guitar has been used mostly for studio work.
It comes with the original case which is in great shape.
Over the past few years I've developed some tendon problems in my fretting hand which makes it difficult to play 12 strings.
I can do 6 strings still thank God as long as I don't over do it.
This is the only reason I'm selling this guitar.
Rickenbacker 330 12-string guitars of this vintage and in this condition are selling between $3,000 and $4,500.
I'm pricing this guitar to move quickly if possible at $3,000.
