Neck and Body in really great condition!
Many years ago I modded this guitar to have a covered P90-humbucker in the bridge. I had to chisel and it’s not perfect. ‘Reverb’ has aftermarket pick-guards, if you wanted to fully restore it. Included is the Seymour Duncan rails neck pickup I upgraded.
I changed out the original single volume pot, for a dual concentric potentiometer…Each turn independently. I know the volume worked correctly but I think the tone might be wired opposite and run backwards, probably a mistake on my part, I just don’t know…Either way my beginner wiring, from 20+ years ago, should be redone….YouTube wasn’t around yet and I was trying to teach myself…The switch, switch tip and jack is original. I no longer have original pickup or volume knob.
I was very young when I tinkered with this guitar and it hasn’t been touched in 20+ years. I recommend re-wiring it when you decide on a bridge pickup, possibly take it to a professional. A pro setup and intonation makes all the difference in how a guitar plays and feels!
The headstock is missing a string ferule on the first two tuning pegs.
This is an excellent project for anyone seeking one of these rad and rare vintage guitars!
