This flute was made by the nephew of the legendary French flute maker Louis Lot.

It is a concert flute in c in modern pitch with a c foot, B natural lever, closed holes, silver plated keys and a rosewood body and head.

The flute is playable but could use new pads if the new owner plans to use it regularly. It utilizes the old fastening screws (they look kind of like resonators on a sax and require a two pronged tool to screw on and off like a watch back) which can be annoying for some techs but are original to the instrument.

As for imperfections there is a small sealed crack that is hardly noticeable in the head joint due to expansion in the tenon from the change in climate.

Lovely piece of flute making history.
