LEAD DEBURR TECH

CTI has an immediate need for an experienced Lead Deburring Technician. Under limited supervision, this person will be the Lead in supporting the team in carrying out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. They will be the go-to person and expert for fellow team members to manually remove machining imperfections from parts.

Essential Duties:

Act as a role model and trainer for new associates. Train new hires and other associates to properly deburr precision component parts.
Ability to consistently lead by example
Ensure standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including tool setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling.
Understand the customer’s definitions of burrs and techniques required to remove them.
Ability to use hand tools, grinders, abrasive material, and other tools to produce desired surface finish
Ability to use visual inspection, both the eye and microscope. Basic measuring instruments to inspect parts for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Assist in coordinating and organizing priorities and assuring deadlines and business needs are met.
Maintain safe work environment conditions by observing processing employee practices and correcting them when necessary.
Qualifications:

3+ years’ relevant deburring experience in a production and/or high tolerance precision manufacturing environment.
1+ years’ Lead and/or Supervisory experience including initial and continued technical training, organizing and prioritizing workload and flow.
Thorough understanding of deburr methods for CNC machined products
Familiarity working with aluminum and a variety of exotic materials
Attention to detail. Must be able to follow very precise instructions from work orders and blueprints.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Possess excellent Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement
Possess excellent visual acuity required for detailed inspections
Strong attention to detail, meticulous nature and the ability to focus on tasks for long periods of time.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and handle large and small components
Basic math or industrial mathematics desired.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate computer skills.

BILINGUAL a PLUS+

Experience in Aerospace industry preferred
