This Baltimore based manufacturing company is looking for a full-time day shift, General Maintenance team member to grow with our company moving forward. To the qualified candidate we will offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Established in 1920 we have a rich history and strong customer base. We take pride in the ability to cast and machine close tolerance military hardware alongside our commercial demands.
Currently as a company we are working a 4 day, 40 hour work week. Monday thru Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Candidate should have the flexibility to work Friday as needed to meet maintenance requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Troubleshooting: Regularly check premises, equipment, electrical, plumbing and HAVC for issues,
Repairs: Fix broken fixture, equipment and structural component (doors, window, lock etc)
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine service on machinery and equipment.
Installation: Install equipment, shelving, fixture and other necessary equipment.
Documentation: Keep detailed records in accordance with AS9100 guidelines.
Coordination: Work with other team members, contractors and management on large projects or complex repairs.
Safety: Adhere to all company safety regulations and building codes.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, ability to read blueprints / manuals. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and find effective solutions
Physical Requirements: Capable of physical labor, lifting and work in various environments
Experience: Proven experience in general maintenance or related trade
A witnessed drug screening will be a requirement.
