The adjustable screw base plates (which did have some surface rust from being encased in concrete) have been removed. So these would need to be placed as fixed length columns and set directly on concrete footings, then surrounded with concrete to hold them in place (just like adjustable columns).. Please note that the adjustable columns depend on having concrete poured underneath them for proper support, as well as around them to set them in position.
The top plates are intact. One is bent inward a little because I used the column with a bottle jack to lift a floor but this does not affect structural integrity.
Factory primer painted plus some black spray paint to cprotect bare metal where welds to a steel beam were cut with an angle grinder.
