Social Media & Marketing Coordinator Intern (Part-time to full-time) (Baltimore)

I. Position Description and Essential Duties:
International labor union seeks a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to maintain, improve, and expand, both, the organization's social media accounts and presence. We seek a creative mind with a strong background in marketing, communications, and good photography/video recording skills. Your undergrad major MUST be in communications or marketing, in order to be considered.

To this end, absolute oversight of our current Instagram account, the company’s website, and Facebook page will fall under the purview of your daily work, and functions. In addition to these, you are expected to create and manage additional media accounts based on target audiences’ needs, (e.g. Instagram and other accounts, as needed, directed to member recruitment efforts), prepare style guides, and newsletters. Additionally, we want an ambitious candidate who enjoys outreach. Strong candidates will effectively demonstrate the ability, and willingness, to create and develop a marketing plan with the objective to expand our signatory contractor list.

This is a temp-to-perm full-time position with a starting rate of $20.00/Hr. x 20 hours per week to 40 hours per week if the fit is right. Demonstrated commitment, professionalism, decorum, and willingness to grow are essential to a full-time position offer. You must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license.

II.Additional Occasional Duties:
In-office help with clerical duties and membership needs such as, but not limited to, help with printing materials and phones.
