Are you or your student struggling to make sense of math? Sometimes, all it takes is a different perspective.
I am a professional educator and freelance tutor with over 12 years of experience helping students bridge the gap in mathematics. Whether it's foundational Math 1-6 or the complexities of Pre-Calculus, I specialize in breaking down abstract concepts into clear, manageable steps.
Subjects Offered:
Elementary & Middle School: Math 1-6 and Pre-Algebra
High School: Algebra I (IM 1), Algebra II (IM 2), and Geometry
Advanced: Pre-Calculus
Why Choose Me?
Proven Track Record: Former instructor at Mathnasium in Pikesville and experienced classroom teacher (French/Arts).
A Visual Approach: As a professional photographer and arts educator, I help students "see" the math. This is especially helpful for Geometry and Algebra II transformations.
Patient & Adaptive: I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to build confidence, not just memorize formulas.
Local & Reliable: Long-time Baltimore resident with a deep background in our local educational and arts community.
