Description:
I need a licensed electrician to install a new dedicated 20-amp circuit from my basement panel (rear wall) to a room on the 2nd floor (front of house).
Existing Condition:
• Room has 2 outlets and 2 light fixtures on a current circuit that trips frequently
• Basement ceiling is exposed
• Distance from panel to room: ~30–40 ft
Scope:
• Install new 20-amp breaker in panel
• Run 12/2 wiring to room
• Connect 2 outlets and 2 lights to new circuit
• Ensure circuit can safely handle:
• 2 small plug-in space heaters (~400W each)
• 2 laptops
• Room lighting
• Test circuit under load
• Work must meet NEC and local code
Requirements:
• Licensed and insured electrician
• Must provide estimate including materials, permits (if needed)
• Estimated job time: 3.5–4.5 hours
We do not pay unless we test everything and it passes!!
