Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to provide on-call service and repair work for residential properties and a commercial office building in the Baltimore area. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient professional who can diagnose issues quickly, complete repairs efficiently, and communicate clearly with property management.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and light commercial properties
Perform service calls including leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, and water heaters
Support tenant turnovers, maintenance punch-lists, and emergency repairs
Identify safety issues and code concerns and recommend corrective actions
Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations
Communicate clearly regarding scope, materials, pricing, and timelines
Maintain clean, safe work areas in occupied homes and offices
Respond to on-call and urgent service requests in a timely manner
Requirements:
Proven experience in residential and light commercial plumbing
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and complete jobs start to finish
Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
Own tools and equipment required for the trade
Professional demeanor when working in occupied properties
Ability to provide proof of insurance (liability; workers’ comp if applicable)
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with older buildings and mixed-use properties
Familiarity with water heater replacements and drain systems
Availability for emergency or after-hours calls
Experience coordinating with property managers and other trades
