HCR seeks a entry level proactive and detailed oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will support the department by providing excellent communication and interpersonal skill by assisting employees with onboarding, time and attendance , time off accruals other daily inquiries. A competent candidate will be driven and meticulous, with outstanding customer service skills, and have a working knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
Provides support in various day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including assisting in the coordination answering the phone and responding to employee inquiries concerning general personnel policies and benefit plan provisions.
Maintains HRIS database, ensuring all employee records are complete with personnel data, both paper and electronic, which includes personnel and medical files, as well as administrative records.
Maintains the timekeeping database, contacts employees and supervisors on timesheet corrections and approvals.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, but not required.
A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years prior experience in a professional environment.
Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and HRIS systems-Experience working with Paycom preferred.
Attention to detail with high personal work standards.
Must be an excellent communicator, including the desire to ask questions and learn from coworkers.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
