Registered Nurse- Intermedie Care 

 Locion: Carroll Hospital – Westminster, MD 

Join our compassione and dediced team Carroll Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health! We’re currently seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care on our IMC unit. 

Position Summary: 

As a Registered Nurse on IMC, you will provide comprehensive and pient-centered nursing care using the nursing process. You will be responsible for collecting and documenting health da, collaboring with multidisciplinary care teams, and ensuring optimal pient outcomes in a supportive and safe environment.  

Responsibilities: 

• Collect and document pient health da while maintaining pient privacy. 

• Apply growth and development principles in all aspects of care. 

• Promote a safe work environment by following Carroll Hospital and regulory guidelines. 

• Communice effectively with pients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams. 

• Formule and evalue individualized care plans in collaborion with other healthcare professionals. 

• Coordine resources for pient care and ensure readiness for pient discharge. 

• Identify and respond to variances in pient outcomes; utilize read-back and escalion procedures appropriely. 

• Support infection prevention and fall reduction through frequent rounding and evidence-based interventions. 

• Administer medicions safely, following established policies and the “5 Rights” protocol. 

• Demonstre flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability to institutional changes. 

• Participe in achieving Nional Pient Safety Goals and quality improvement measures. 

• Use critical thinking and clinical judgment in decision-making and problem-solving. 

• Promote pient flow and comply with timely admissions and transfers. 

 

Requirements: 

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse license (RN) 

• One year of acute care experience required 

• BLS Provider certificion from the American Heart Associion
