Join Carroll Hospital as a Registered Nurse on our Flo Pool team. This is a premium pay opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to work across a variety of inpient units. The Flo Pool RN will be expected to provide high-quality, evidence-based care while floing between Med-Surg, IMC, PCU, CCU, and the Emergency Department based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities 

• Utilize clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking to deliver safe, high-quality pient care. 

• Assess, monitor, and accurely document pient conditions, pain levels, comfort measures, and responses to trement. 

• Develop individualized care plans, discharge planning, and pient/family educion to support positive health outcomes. 

• Collabore with interdisciplinary teams through daily huddles, pient care discussions, and coordined care planning. 

• Delege responsibilities appropriely, ensure timely follow-up, and maintain effective communicion with pients, families, and staff. 

• Promote professionalism by following hospital protocols, supporting quality improvement initiives, and maintaining current nursing best practices. 

• Maintain pient safety and sisfaction by performing hourly rounding, fostering a therapeutic environment, and supporting reduction of Nurse Sensitive Indicors (NSIs). 

Qualificions 

• Current Maryland RN license (or eligibility) 

• Basic Life Support (BLS) 

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)   

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an IMC or higher-acuity care setting
