Summary
JOB SUMMARY: Performs ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established procedures. Demonstres age approprie care towards all customers. Consistently demonstres competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinions with special tention to abdominal, retroperitoneal and vascular scans. Assists with minor Ultrasound invasive procedures (cyst aspirion and biopsies). Obtains and relays informion reled to exam. Educes pients about exams, adjusting to pient/staffing needs. Provides support to Ultrasound Department to aid workflow.
REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associe's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Gradue of an AMA Accredited school of Ultrasound. Less than 1 year of experience. American Heart Associion CPR Certificion, ARDMS Certified or board eligible. Board certified within 1 year of hire.
The days are Monday- Thursday.
