The Occupional Therapist provides occupional therapy services to pients, to include screening and evaluion, trement planning, trement implemention, trement re-assessment and revision, pient/client re-evaluion, discharge planning, and documention. The Occupional Therapist participes, as requested, in program planning and protocol development and assists the team in meeting established goals. The Occupional Therapist provides occupional therapy services to pients including trement, training, and equipment recommendions under the supervision of a licensed occupional therapist according to the ste requirements of which the provider is practicing.

Primary Duties:
Provides evaluion services including review of pertinent historical informion, performance of specific assessments, and determinion of recommendions and documention of results. Explains evaluion findings and trement plan to pient and family and incorpores pient and family in the goals setting.
Demonstres proficiency in implemention of trement protocols based upon evaluion findings, the pient's presention, and the evolving health care environment. Consults with other healthcare professionals as indiced. Recognizes and documents changes in pient's condition requiring modificion of the plan of care and/or the need for medical/rehabilition consultion.
Completes approprie discharge planning and follow-up care. Accurely and timely documents and charges for pient care activities considering our evolving health care environment, painting a clear picture of the pient's course of care including focused initial evaluion/plan of care th establishes baseline and goals, legible daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluion.
Demonstres effective time management and meets productivity expections. Manage an accure schedule. Demonstres a professional commitment to provide frictionless pient access to care through flexibility, adaptability, creivity, and actions/behaviors th display emphy in our pient consumer driven environment.
Takes initiive in pursuing and directing continuing educion for professional growth and competency for self and organizion. Serves as a clinical instructor to assign students. Assists with oriention and mentoring of new staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
Qualificions:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupional Therapy.
Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as necessary for your specific locion(s).
American Heart Associion’s BLS (Basic Life Support).
