About the Role:

• Performs a variety of administrive and clerical duties to proactively identify and respond to the needs of the pients, medical office staff, and physicians.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Places, receives and screens telephone calls; determines nure of call and provides general informion, referring more complex calls to other team members.
• Greets, screens and directs visitors, pients, sales representives, etc.
• Schedules appointments, maintains calendars, arranges meetings and conferences, and makes travel arrangements.
• Services the needs of pients in the Medical Office.
• Schedules pient appointments, may post surgeries, etc.
• Performs pre-registrion or registrion by interviewing pient and obtaining relevant informion e. g. personal demographics and health insurance informion.
• Obtains necessary authorizions.
• May assist pients in examinion room when needed.
• May collect copays.
• Opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail; answers routine correspondence independently.
• Maintains office supplies; prepares inventory and purchase orders.
• Participes in special projects as needed.
• Optimizes facility and professional charge entry and subsequent collections for all services provided.

REQUIREMENTS;

• Educion:  HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in call center environment.

Salary range: $18 to $22/hour based on years of experience and internal equity
