Men on the Move Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional PRN Caregivers to join our team. We provide care for highly functioning residents in a small, home-like environment where dignity, respect, and quality care are our top priorities.
This position offers flexible PRN scheduling with 12-hour shifts and the opportunity for a live-in role if desired.
Position Overview:
As a caregiver, you will assist residents with daily living activities, support their independence, and ensure a safe, clean, and structured environment. Our residents are highly functioning and do not require total care.
Responsibilities:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, bathing, and dressing
Monitor and record vital signs (e.g., blood pressure)
Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
Administer first aid when needed
Support individuals with autism or other special needs in daily routines
Organize and administer medications according to schedule
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
Prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
Encourage social interaction and engagement among residents
Coordinate and attend medical and therapy appointments as needed
Document care and communicate updates to the Assisted Living Manager/Owner
Utilize electronic charting through the iCare Management System
Qualifications:
Prior caregiving or healthcare experience preferred (CMT strongly preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills (MS Office and ability to learn electronic systems)
Ability to work independently and responsibly in a home setting
Proof of professional training preferred (training can be provided)
Must be vaccinated
Must provide a written resume and professional references
Compensation:
Paid per shift (not hourly)
Flexible PRN scheduling
Live-in option available with private room and amenities
